The shared affections and warm memories were the inspiration for developing the Casa Cajuína Deca – a proprietary project of Deca, signed by architect Vangii Guerra at CASACOR Piauí. In this setting, cajuína – an artisanal drink made from cashew and typical of the state – took center stage. "I rescued in this space a childhood ritual. My mother made cajuína, and we, her daughters, would gather around watching," she recalls. With the intention of valuing the cultural identity of her state, Vangii recovered these affective memories to compose a project of 155 m² where all eyes turn to the kitchen. There, it represents the true heart of the house – and it is from there that the living room, dining room, SPA, lavatory, and gourmet balcony are organized.

"The kitchen is this symbolic place where everything happens. And cajuína is not just a drink, but a bond between generations, memories, and affections. Deca, with its sophisticated palette and functional solutions, allowed us to translate this essence into architecture," comments the professional. This poetic tribute to the typical drink represents a reverence to an important source of income for a large part of the population of Piauí. And the references do not stop there: Vangii also inserted a symbolic cashew tree into the project.
In the interiors, the artisanal and contemporary completely merge. The architect explored, in the decor, an interesting play of textures, composed of earthy tones that refer to clay and natural straw. There is also a strong presence of pieces and elements of popular art, with vibrant paintings and sculptures that engage with regionalism and add a contemporary layer to the project.

According to the architect, each element was developed to provoke the senses – be it through sight, touch, or memory. Furthermore, it was a premise of the project to achieve a sensory and authentic atmosphere, revering the semi-arid region of Piauí. Throughout the entire pathway, Deca products add functionality and sophistication. In the kitchen, for example, Deca metals optimize food preparation, adding innovation, technology, and the possibility of integration and socialization to the proposal. In the SPA area, marked by water mirrors, bathtubs, mixers, and faucets, the products enhance the climate of relaxation amidst the tropical vegetation. Guided by sustainable practices, Casa Cajuína Deca incorporates solutions such as cross ventilation, utilization of natural light, water reuse, and the use of local materials. "Deca has as pillars design, innovation, and sustainability. Therefore, projects like Casa Cajuína Deca demonstrate that it is possible to unite cultural identity and environmental responsibility with aesthetics and functionality," reflects Helga Dias Junqueira, marketing manager of Deca. For Vangii, besides the aesthetic result achieved, the project materializes an old desire – in tune with this year's national theme of CASACOR, Sowing Dreams. "I want to see the world know cajuína not as a regional curiosity, but as a sensory and affective heritage of Piauí," she states.
