The home as a sacred place and a space of care for life. It was from this concept that the Casa Âmago Deca was born for CASACOR Piauí 2026, a project signed by the duo of architects Laline and Isadora Mendes, mother and daughter.

Inspired by the national theme of this year's show, Mind and Heart, the architects propose a celebration of family living. In 76 m2, kitchen, living room, dining room, powder room and balcony form a fluid and integrated project, designed to provide encounters and help slow down the routine. "This is a space of silence, comfort and welcome. It is where we can recover moments of being with family," says Laline.

In the kitchen, a continuous countertop covered with glass bricks establishes a dialogue between nature and technology. At one of its ends, the presence of a small tree brings warmth, while at the other, the preparation area incorporates the Funstation Sink and the Deca Inside Single-Lever Faucet, by Deca, integrated into the dynamics of the space.

Throughout the entire area, the Metropolis SBE NAT floor, by Portinari, and the Harmonia Brick BW NAT wall covering, also by Portinari, reinforce the atmosphere of the project through earthy textures and tones.

Next, the living room welcomes visitors with signature design furniture and works by local artists, including popular art creations, small sculptures, handmade objects and canvases.

On the walls, custom-made shelves in the Freijó Imperial pattern, by Duratex, house books by authors from Piauí and establish a direct connection with the state's cultural production. "We added soul with works that bring Piauí from the outside in, valuing our roots and inspiring new creators," comments Isadora.

In the dining area, the bar behind the table reinforces the vocation for entertaining. There, the Suprema Sink and the Enjoy Pro Single-Lever Faucet, by Deca, discreetly integrate into the composition and support the moments of serving.

In the powder room, conceived as a continuation of the living area, the earthy palette extends to the countertop area, designed by the architects, which holds the Etrusco Sink and the Nex Float Single-Lever Faucet, in corten finish.

For the architects, the elements that make up the Casa Âmago Deca reinforce the need for a pause amid the accelerated routine — a perspective that aligns with Deca's vision for living.

"The project translates a vision of well-being in which design supports coexistence and qualifies the everyday experience. It is in this encounter between functionality, sensitivity and use that we build our contemporary reading of living," states Marina Crocomo, Marketing and Design Director at Dexco.
