In his first participation at
CASACOR São Paulo , Carlos Navero showed his "
Infinito Particular " - this year's
CASACOR theme - in a gallery that brings together his three great passions: architecture, art and swimming.
The architect took advantage of the high ceiling to build the space named
Galeria Pirajuí . To give the visitor the feeling that they are in a swimming pool, Navero used
5 x 5 cm porcelain tiles in blue and pink , which also refer to the to the Louvre building, dating from 1950, on Avenida São Luís, in the central region of the capital of São Paulo.
With reference to this element, the professional emulated an image similarity with infinity pools and LED benches, proposing an aesthetic immersion in the exhibited arts, which will also be on sale throughout the event.
“Based on this modernist vein, it would be impossible to disregard the use of porcelain tiles, which are a very common element in buildings designed by architecture professionals who have dedicated themselves to the style that values straight lines,” explains the architect.
Art is not restricted to the works, but also to the furniture that forms part of the gallery's lounge, where visitors can sit on furniture designed by Sérgio Rodrigues, Jorge Zalszupin and Geraldo Barros.
The gallery houses exclusive pieces that can be admired by everyone who passes by CASACOR São Paulo, such as an installation by Luiz Martins, a origami sculpture by Eleutherio Netto, a very rare vase by Arthur Luiz Piza, photographs by Claudia Andujar, Lita Cerqueira, Albano Afonso, Delson Uchôa, Sara Ramo, Valdir Cruz, as well as 115 pieces of kinetic art by Abraham Palatnik, from Navero's personal collection, displayed on a metalwork shelf at SCA Jardim Europa. All this and much more accompanied by delicious Nescafé coffee Dolce Gusto, which is present in the space.
