The design of the Limone restaurant, the CASACOR Bistro, is striking for visitors to CASACOR São Paulo : the contrast of the black and white aesthetic surprises those who stop by to enjoy a Mediterranean dinner. The duo behind the design is formed by architect Marcia Buschinelli and interior designer Rodrigo Ramos , from the Habitat Projetos Inteligentes office, debutants at the show.

The space transcribes the intention that led to the restaurant’s reopening, as Rodrigo explains. “We want to show the process of Limone’s renewal, based on dual elements, such as the new and the old, the end and the beginning, the day and the night. . In short, having the vision of the restaurant’s rebirth in full.”

“The contrast between black and white, with light touches of gold, brings sophistication to the room,” says Rodrigo. Duality is not the only feature of the space that impresses, but its mirrored aspect, as if one extreme were a recolored copy of the other. , also stands out.

The 90 m² space features a neoclassical style with art deco touches, and had the pleasure of the experience of old São Paulo restaurants as one of the themes that guided the work. “We created an environment to stimulate all the senses: smell and taste, through Mediterranean cuisine; sight, through the beauty of the décor, which was designed from the ceiling to the floor; hearing, through good lounge music; and touch, in which different textures and materials are perceived”, explains Marcia.

The blend of modern and classic design and the technology applied to materials, such as polished porcelain tiles with a high-definition marbling effect, are essential to reveal an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and contemporary. The space, which will be open throughout the exhibition, will serve à la carte dishes. The circulation and ergonomics were also studied by the office, in order to ensure comfort in the relationship between the kitchen and the public.
