Bistro brings French flair to the inherent Brazilianness of CASACOR Ribeirão Preto

A veteran and highly anticipated duo at CASACOR Ribeirão Preto , Thiago Manarelli and Ana Paula Guimarães, from the Manarelli & Guimarães office, chose a French restaurant to celebrate their 17th participation in the show.

Manarelli & Guimarães - Restaurante Bonne Affaire Perplan. Thiago Manarelli e Ana Paula Guimarães escolheram um restaurante francês para celebrar sua 17ª participação na CASACOR. Em parceria com a construtora Perplan, que os convidou para realizar o projeto, os arquitetos transportam o visitante para a atmosfera de um autêntico bistrô parisiense. Entre o mix de texturas e a preferência pelos tons verdes e terrosos, a origem de um espaço sofisticado, aconchegante e intimista. Em sua concepção, no entanto, a dupla fez questão de dar um tempero brasileiro, criando uma conexão com a história da icônica casa que sedia a mostra. Sem a necessidade de grandes intervenções, a arquitetura do lugar foi respeitada: as paredes descascadas revelam os tijolos originais, e elementos como a antiga estátua e o jardim foram integrados, quebrando a fronteira entre interior e exterior. “Buscamos uma harmonia entre o passado e o presente, revisitamos peças clássicas com nova leitura, ousamos em combinações que unem o ar francês à dinâmica da brasilidade. A proposta foi desafiar o padrão estabelecido, mostrando que é possível criar espaços incríveis, sensíveis e repletos de significados.” (Carolina Mossin/CASACOR)

Entitled " Restaurant Bonne Affaire Perplan ", the space created in partnership with the construction company Perplan transports visitors to the atmosphere of an authentic Parisian bistro . Among the highlights of the composition are the mix of textures and the preference for green and earthy tones.

Cozy, sophisticated and intimate, the restaurant does not fail to add a " Brazilian flavor " to the Parisian atmosphere, taking the opportunity to connect with the history of the iconic house that hosts the exhibition - a mansion on Rua Conde Afonso Celso, in the Jardim Sumaré neighborhood, in Ribeirão Preto.

“We sought harmony between past and present , revisited classic pieces with a new interpretation, and dared to combine French style with the dynamics of Brazilianness . The idea was to challenge the established standard, showing that it is possible to create incredible, sensitive spaces full of meaning,” the duo reveals.
