"There is always a glass of sea for man to sail". The verse by the poet from Alagoas, Jorge de Lima, written in 1952, more than ever opens up room for an interpretation of
a new breath in a time of recovery . At a time when the home becomes more prominent, homes become our
place of comfort, protection and connection . A place where design is revealed in everyday life, diluted in simple actions such as preparing a meal and taking a bath. In a dialogue between man, the house and what is inside it, the
Deca Studio designed by
Leo Romano conveys softness and poetry, a breath of art that inspires the senses, space and life. An architecture that illuminates the city in
CASACOR Sao Paulo 2021 .
An imposing structure of almost
400 square meters presents itself as a portal to slow down. The Nordic-inspired architecture uses a construction technique of Cambará wood interlocking and a translucent roof, which results in a
simple, inviting and, at the same time, sustainable plasticity . The materials employed at the construction base are
100% reusable . At the entrance, a large
mirror is the first element where visitors encounter themselves, where they recognize themselves physically, and then enter an
atmosphere of slowing down and breathing . In it, people develop a complicity with their experiences.
Next,
a living room opens up to the four corners, promoting different sensations . In the Studio, the invitation to poetic lightness is materialized in the panel that features an installation, where the verse of the poet from Alagoas was engraved in low relief. In the space,
Leo Romano's signature furniture complements the welcoming proposal with pieces such as sofas, chaises and armchairs from the "Para ser Feliz" collection and the large coffee table and chair from the "Chuva" collection.
In addition to this universe of experimentation, a
water mirror houses fountains that refer to purification points,
portraying our relationship with water and its power of physical and spiritual cleansing . Designed from the architect's perspective, with the combination of
Deca and golden bubbles, the art installations have the
skyline of the city of São Paulo as a backdrop. At another point, the tropicality of a sequence of Cicas mixes the nature present in the environment with that displayed in the square next to the exhibition, seen from above.
