The old bathroom room gets a new use here: under the command of the duo Ricardo Melo and Rodrigo Passos , the space now becomes the Brando Barbosa Meeting Room and Gallery . The project with a contemporary look uses natural materials, such as stone and wood, and only the essentials when it comes to furniture – paying homage, of course, to the original architecture .

The tone of blue appears on the walls, through the color Antique Writing by Coral , and also on the carpets, which give new air to the blue of the house's stained glass windows .

The marble bathtub, which is speculated to have belonged to Empress Teresa Cristina , remains in the room, but becomes a support for a collection of opalines . The original closet of Odaléa Barbosa, the former resident, becomes a showcase to display pieces from the Residence's collection .
