Discover the 14 favorite environments from all CASACOR shows in 2022

There were more than 600 spaces , 16 exhibitions throughout Brazil and also in Latin America, in Bolivia and Peru , and hundreds of thousands of visitors, but finally the CASACOR 2022 season has come to an end. Of everything we saw, of course, we chose our favorite proposals, compositions and inspirations – and so did our readers. Throughout the year, we opened 14 polls to find out which spaces were the public's favorites, and the results are here. Check them out below:

1. "Roots" of CASACOR São Paulo

Among the nine lofts that competed in the CASACOR São Paulo 2022 survey , the winner was "Raízes", a project designed by the duo Alexandre Gedeon and Hugo Schwartz . The concept reflects the trend of temporary housing and brings elements that provide comfort and tranquility, such as colors linked to nature and organic shapes.

2. "House Wine Cellar" by CASACOR Rio de Janeiro

The winners of the poll that revealed the favorite living room at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2022 were Ana Cano Milman and Claudia Infante , authors of the "Adega" project. Located in the recently discovered original basement of the Brando Barbosa Residence, the venue for this year's show, the space brings the wine cellar into the 21st century through the selection of contemporary furniture and new works of art created especially for the space.

3. "Voktum Master Suite" by CASACOR Minas Gerais

Betânia Nascimento - Suíte Master Voktum. A suíte foi pensada para um casal que gosta de curtir a vida no seu canto preferido no mundo: a própria casa. O ambiente é leve e elegante na medida, um convite ao descanso. Em tons claros e apostando em materiais naturais, o espaço tem tacão de tauari no piso, quartzito na parede da TV e spa esculpido em travertino bege bahia escovado, presente também na bancada. At CASACOR Minas Gerais 2022 , the Voktum Suite was chosen as the favorite space among the nine rooms that were part of this edition of the show. The survey consecrated the space by Betânia Nascimento , a debuting architect, because of the cozy feeling, the natural materials and the light tones that run throughout the composition. The suite was designed for a couple who likes to enjoy life in their favorite corner of the world: their own home.

4. "Windows of Our Sea" by CASACOR Brasília

With 33.13% of the votes, the space designed by Larissa Dias Arquitetura won the poll for the favorite house in this edition of CASACOR Brasília 2022. The 133 m² space gained large openings to the outside and was filled with furniture from big names in national design, such as Sérgio Rodrigues, Jader Almeida, Estudio Bola and Guilherme Wentz.

5. "Loft Musings of a Young Lawyer" by CASACOR Santa Catarina

Readers voted and the result was clear: CASACOR Santa Catarina 2022 's favorite living room is the Loft Devaneios de um Jovem Advogado. The project, designed by Natalia Xavier , won more than 50% of the votes among 13 other spaces. With the wine color as its protagonist, the loft is an alternative for compact living, housing a living room, kitchen, bedroom and office in 58m².

6. "Pied-à-Terre" by CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul

The title of favorite kitchen at CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2022 went to Pied-à-Terre, a space designed by Livia Bortoncello . The project was designed to be a second home, even a small refuge, in Paris. Natural light was the starting point in choosing the colors and textures. The existing floors, ceilings and frames were kept, all in the original wood of the building – the Pia Instituição Chaves Barcellos, built in 1923.

7. "Cinema House" by CASACOR Paraná

With the aim of becoming a space for emotional memories, Casa Cinema opted for a contemporary industrial style in the composition that won the title of favorite living room at CASACOR Paraná 2022. Designed by Juliana Gabardo and Sheila Jesus , the project received more than 43% of the votes in a proposal that caters to the entire family, combining the best of design, technology and sustainability.

With the overwhelming majority of votes – 67.4% of the total –, the Couple's Suite is by far the favorite project of CASACOR Espírito Santo 2022. The suite designed by Carol Zamboni is guided by the connection with nature. Here, textures and colors rescue primitive aspects, but without forgetting to add comfort; and naturalness appears in the light, sounds, plants and the view of Vitória Bay.

9. "Collector's Suite" by CASACOR Ceará

Minimalist design and neutral colors characterize the bathroom that won the poll as the favorite for CASACOR Ceará 2022. In the project, Manoela Corrêa thought of contemplating a sophisticated couple with discreet tastes, with a keen knowledge of art and design. The space integrates living room, bedroom and bathroom and offers multiple options for relaxation, where everything from the materials to the fabrics were designed to bring comfort.

10. "Refuge House" by CASACOR Goiás

With the aim of giving the space a homely feel, Lucas Machado brought to CASACOR Goiás an environment designed to allow you to stop and breathe, notice the details and slow down. With a dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, the spaces at Casa Refúgio are unified in a welcoming harmony, without neglecting functionality. It was the bathroom in this project that won the poll as the favorite of the edition .

Lucas Machado - Casa Refúgio. Não há nada como se sentir em casa. E é essa a sensação que o arquiteto Lucas Machado instiga com o seu ambiente, a Casa Refúgio. Em meio à predominância de tons claros, iluminação pontual, contrastes sutis e uma atmosfera minimalista, o espaço abraça seus visitantes e os convida a parar e respirar, perceber os detalhes, desacelerar, se permitir sentir cada sensação com calma. O ambiente é integrado, tendo somente uma divisória por meio de um brise, que ainda assim mantém a unidade do todo. 11. "Oculum Deca" by CASACOR Pernambuco

A public favorite, with more than 13 thousand votes accumulated, the Oculum Deca designed by Dubeux Vasconcelos Arquitetura won the favorite living room poll at CASACOR Pernambuco 2022. The project is a metaphor for the word “oculus”, which refers to any instrument composed of lenses that aids vision. Thus, the space has a large transparent window on the ceiling that allows you to observe the untouched part of the Chanteclair building, a thousand-year-old building in Recife Antigo that hosted the exhibition in 2022.

12. "Daughter's Suite" by CASACOR Bahia

Carol Barreto - Suíte da Filha. O projeto de 37m² levou leveza e suavidade ao ambiente pensado para uma estudante que ama a vida, a natureza e os livros, e que carrega o desejo de fazer diferença na vida das pessoas. A fluidez está presente desde a composição do layout. O desafio foi mesclar curvas, elementos e texturas que proporcionassem aconchego e feminilidade. Cores e a presença de fragmentos da natureza se harmonizam por toda parte. A escolha das peças e das obras de artes refletem sua essência e celebram suas memórias. (Gabriela Daltro/CASACOR)

Designed for a student who loves life, nature and books, and who has the desire to make a difference in people's lives, the Daughter's Suite is CASACOR Bahia 'sfavorite room . Designed by Carol Barreto , the 37m² suite's challenge was to combine curves, elements and textures that provide warmth and femininity. Colors and the presence of fragments of nature harmonize throughout.

13. "Infinite Palate" by CASACOR Ribeirão Preto

Caru Cunha Arquitetura Silvia Camargo Arquitetura e Urbanismo Paladar Infinito CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2022

Caru Cunha Arquitetura - Silvia Camargo Arquitetura e Urbanismo - Paladar Infinito. Como premissa, a preferência por materiais naturais. Partindo daí, as arquitetas Silvia Camargo e Caru Cunha, estreantes na CASACOR, reuniram elementos para criar um empório minimalista, sob medida para dar vida aos produtos e, ao mesmo tempo, aguçar o paladar. A atmosfera é de tranquilidade, bem-estar. Ela é provocada pelo uso de tons neutros e texturas naturais, como as pedras do balcão e do jardim, além da iluminação trabalhada com sombra e luz. “Buscamos um diálogo entre a edificação e o visitante por meio desse ambiente humanizado, que o aproxima dos produtos que são demonstrados e degustados”. CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2022 's favorite commercial environment , Paladar Infinito is a minimalist emporium that aims to bring products to life while also stimulating the palate. “We seek a dialogue between the building and the visitor through this humanized environment, which brings them closer to the products that are demonstrated and tasted,” say architects Caru Cunha and Silvia Camargo , responsible for the project.

14. "Dermato Space" at CASACOR Sergipe

Aline Dantas - Espaço da Dermato. Heranças dos anos 1990, as clássicas curvas modernistas, reafirmadas pela prancheta da Jânia Reis e Clarisse de Almeida, trazem a força feminina que se expressa clara, suave e dinâmica na arquitetura que paira levemente sobre os jardins tropicais da CASACOR Sergipe 2022. Seja pelas fortes influências das curvas sensuais de Niemeyer ou pelas curvas tecnológicas e internacionais de Zaha Haddid, o que temos neste projeto é uma simbiose contemporânea, que contrasta e se harmoniza ao histórico prédio do Castelinho. O espaço, que homenageia a médica dermatologista Thâmara Morita, foi inspirado na busca de tratamentos dermatológicos com procedimentos avançados, trazendo o que há de melhor para os pacientes. Feminine strength is the starting point of the Espaço da Dermato project, which clearly, smoothly and dynamically expresses in architecture the homage to dermatologist Thâmara Morita. Whether due to the strong influences of Niemeyer's sensual curves or the technological and international curves of Zaha Haddid, Aline Dantas ' project, which was elected the best project for the external area of CASACOR Sergipe, is a contemporary symbiosis that contrasts and harmonizes with the historic Castelinho building.
