The central space of contemporary life, the kitchen has increasingly gained status as a place of coexistence and, at the same time, refuge. In the Ninho Deca Kitchen, designed by architects Paulo Guizzo and Valber Batistoti for CASACOR Mato Grosso do Sul 2025, the proposal for welcoming and belonging emerges from the balance between natural materials and innovative design solutions.

In 24 m², every detail conveys the feeling of being protected, like in a nest. "Our intention was to develop a kitchen that was both functional and full of meaning. Thus, we created suspended niches that organize the projects like nests that house different moments, bringing the idea of coziness and belonging," affirm the architects from the Guizzo Batistoti office.

In reference to the way birds build their nests in trees and slopes, the suspended niches – anchored with Duratex sheets in the Bourbon Walnut pattern – establish different functions in the projects, such as pantry, wine cellar, bar, and functional countertop.

At the center of the composition is the Deca Inox Funstation Sink, which enables various usage versions, thanks to the accessories that fit precisely, such as boards, dish racks, and bowls. This solution allows for the area to be concealed and expands the preparation surface, creating fluidity between cooking and hosting.

The set is complemented with practicality (and without interfering with the design of the projects) by the Deca Inside Inox Retractable Monocommand and the 40 cm Stainless Steel Organizer. Pieces designed by Jader Almeida specifically for the brand, such as the 40 cm Open Shelf in Matte Ebony and the Double Hook in Black Matte, combine functionality and sophistication.

Finally, the floor in organic cutouts from the Gales Organic SGR Kit, from Portinari, adds movement and highlights asymmetry, in dialogue with the natural textures.
