CASACOR Santa Catarina 2019 | Balneário Camboriú 2019. Órbita Bathroom - Ana Paula Borba. The old bathroom at Casa do Lago is the setting for an updated reading of the story of Peter Pan. Preserving the magical atmosphere, the woodwork on the ceiling evokes a pirate ship sailing in the sky, while the vertical garden refers to the forest, the stage for Peter's adventures. The wall covering gives the sensation of leaving orbit. Also note the mirrors, inspired by Tinkerbell's wings.

CASACOR Santa Catarina 2019 | Balneário Camboriú 2019. Green Cabin Bathroom - Suellen Paul. The strong connection with nature is reaffirmed in the materials and plants. The OBS sheets composed of wood gain new status in the panel, which delimits the area of the marble-faced sinks. In addition to recycled materials, the environment brings other sustainable resources, such as water reuse and electricity supply with the help of solar panels.

CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Voyeur Bathroom - Unik Arquitetura and Estúdio Aker. The “Voyeur” bathroom has cabins with transparent glass enclosures. However, when the door is closed, it becomes opaque, providing total privacy. To further stimulate the user, the architects used a trompe l'oeil feature - at the back of the cabins - with perspective images to create the illusion of continuity.

CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Three Elements - Bárbara Salles. The contemporary world inspired debutant architect Bárbara Salles to create the 3 Elements space - earth, water and air. With a very bold and creative conceptual bathroom, it promises to take the public to a meditative state, with the aim of activating the conscious and bringing it to the present moment. Upon entering the 25m2 space, the visitor is faced with a playful atmosphere, whose central point is the synesthetic architecture, which stimulates perceptions through various sensations, increasing well-being and contributing to self-knowledge.

CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2019. Functional Bathrooms - Tais Marchetti Bonetti, Giovani Bonetti and Luiz Fernando Zanoni. The white tiles have an irresistible retro appeal and unify the finish of the walls and countertops in the 113 m² space. It dialogues with the green that invades the ceiling and overflows on the upper strip of the walls, transmitting an energy linked to nature. The black faucets enhance and are an element of contrast.

CASACOR Paraná 2019. Bathroom Me, You, Them - André Cabral. The architect mixes different materials and brings the high-low concept to the bathroom inspired by bars and clubs. CASACOR Espírito Santo 2019. Unisex Lavatories - Janete Valladão. The 10 m² space features modern lighting, a wall with a floral print protected by glass and porcelain tiles that reproduce marble from the Italian region of Sorrento on the floor.
(Felipe Araújo)
11/27 -
CASACOR Goiás 2019. Winter Lavatory – Rubya Zottele. The lavatory is interpreted as a winter garden and gains an industrial feel with the use of burnt cement on the walls. The gold stripes are a welcome addition, bringing geometry and delicacy. The 12 m² space also draws inspiration from the cold of winter in some materials, such as the dolomitic marble on the floor.

12/27 -
CASACOR Minas Gerais 2019. Andrea Pinto Coelho - Lavatory. The French bombe chest of drawers starts the space, a hall invigorated by the deep green that colors the walls. The piece of furniture is accompanied by a classic chair, composing the decoration of the anteroom that precedes two lavatories. Inside, ecogranite coverings, gold metals and fabrics are highlights.

13/27 -
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2019. Isabelle Cassani - Public Lavatory. The contemporary style benefits from the Art Deco that defines the original construction. Brazilianness is assumed in the straw partitions and design elements. As demanded by the new times, the choice of coatings and Deca metals followed sustainability parameters. The focus on diversity is expressed in the accessible cabin and in two others that are freely usable, without gender demarcation.

14/27 -
CASACOR Brasília 2019. Casulo by Anna Albano and Camila Abrahão - Subsersivo Lavabo. The architects are the winners of the 7th São Geraldo CASACOR Brasília Young Professional Award and took over the 44 m² space. It has only two coverings, tiles and mirrors, and there is no distinction between the floor and ceiling of the space - one seems to reflect the other. In the center of the space, the internal garden separates the women's bathroom from the men's bathroom, establishing another symmetrical axis.

15/27 -
CASACOR Rio Grande do Norte 2019. Leopoldo Rosado - Functional Lavatories. With 130 m², the project combines the bar's common area and functional lavatories of the exhibition. In the lavatories, the lightness of the granulite associated with the special cuts in porcelain create beauty and functionality.

16/27 -
CASACOR Ceará 2019. Reliquary - Lavatory with Hallway by Ticiana Sanford. Affective memories served as a starting point for the project, such as the blue of the backlands farm and the exuberance of the tropical vegetation of the Guaramiranga and Meruoca mountains. Personal objects and furniture, some from the last century, form a reliquary of memories and show that it is possible to combine existing pieces with contemporary design, in a harmonious and sustainable way. Inside the lavatory, a blue atmosphere provided by the Azuli stone from Ceará. Highlighting the installation of dried leaves made of biodegradable material by the artist Socorro Silveira, on the main staircase.

17/27 -
CASACOR Ceará 2019. Eclipse in Sobral - Public Washrooms - João Dias. The space was inspired by the brutalist style, with a raw and minimalist aesthetic, angles, geometric shapes and a double-height ceiling. It houses the cabins, with different themes, and a room with washrooms and a space for applying makeup. The white and gold, the colors and textures, on the floor and walls, are combined with the large burgundy ceiling, from which water flows down to the mirror surrounded by sinks. In the outdoor area, a balcony, which functions as a meeting and resting point, enhances the contemplation of the local vegetation. Pieces of art, design and crafts from Ceará provide the final touch.

18/27 -
CASACOR Espírito Santo 2019. Functional Lavatories - Aline Ane, Aline Fialho and Aline Rita Laureano. The space is 28.50 m² and has an inclusive dimension, catering to everyone from babies to the elderly. Nature is expressed in the use of vegetation and the reclaimed wood of the countertop, with a resin finish, raising awareness of the need to preserve the planet. LED lamps and pieces that reduce water consumption also promote sustainable thinking.
(Felipe Araújo)
19/27 -
CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2019. Tri Suave Lavatory - Marilia Zimmermman. The starting point came from the architecture of the historic building, with its sequential arched balconies, mentioned in the room's mirrors. Another inspiration came from the favorite colors of the year, which star in the space. The lighting plays the role of bringing movement and depth. Note the floor with small porcelain pieces in six shades, from the JoyMz collection, designed by the architect.

20/27 -
CASACOR Paraguay 2019. Baño Social Alta Gama - Adriana Ribeiro and Araceli Armele. The walls of the space sponsored by IPALE Alta Gama are antithetical: they contrast with curved and straight shapes typical of the coverings, which bring an appeal to the natural, whether in the colors that refer to the earth or in the texture of the stones on the floors and walls. The bathroom and sink were arranged on orthogonal walls, which form a curved design that overlooks an internal garden.

CASACOR Minas Gerais 2019. Malluh Amorim - Restaurant Bathroom. Right at the entrance, the Raviolo armchairs by Ron Arad reveal the futuristic proposal. The intimate colors create a scenic atmosphere and contrast with the tropical garden integrated into the washbasins, in addition to the works of art interspersed with the slatted panels. In terms of sustainability, it is worth highlighting the materials such as ecogranite and Deca metals, which have flush and water flow control.

22/27 -
CASACOR Minas Gerais 2019. Valéria Junqueira - Public Bathrooms. The artist Alexandre Mancini, a tile artist and disciple of Athos Bulcão, created the panel in homage to Brazilian modernism. Another work of art is the paintings by James Kudo. To ensure that these works received the attention they deserved, the floor and walls were neutralized with cement coatings. Soapstone, widely used in Minas Gerais, appears on the countertops that support the sinks by Jader Almeida for Deca. The designer also designed the benches in the room.

23/27 -
CASACOR Rio De Janeiro 2019. Tripper Arquitetura - Bathroom Elements. The men's and women's bathrooms will be the only spaces that will remain after the event. Therefore, the option was to use durable and timeless elements, such as wood and Deca sinks with a simple design. The large mirror gains a new look with metalwork frames. Some coverings were made with recycled materials and handcrafted production.

24/27 -
CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2019. Isaac Amir and Mariana Castanheira - Bathroom Influencer. The concept “From Ego to Eco” encompasses technology to inspire followers to human connection with nature. In these 4 m², the materials awaken sensations and draw attention to reuse. The wood in the shower, for example, was from CASACOR 2018. The mirrors refer to self-image, but also generate interesting visual displacements.
(Felipe Araújo)
25/27 -
CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2019. Bruno Ortega - Sensory Public Bathroom. Marble, in the patterns of Paraná White, Nero Marquina and Alpi Green, is the main element of this 20 m² bathroom. It gains freshness with the vertical garden and comfort with the softness of the wood. The marble brise-soleils attract the eye, as does the Mush pendant, designed by Jader Almeida.
(Felipe Araújo)
26/27 -
CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2019. J uliana Said - Bathroom for Coming of Age. The 4 m² were enough to create a space to relax. Unexpectedly, the choice of dark granite becomes balanced when interacting with the backlit wall in white onyx. On the ceiling, the lining was replaced by a tensioned screen to enhance the lighting.
(Felipe Araújo)
27/27 -
CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2019. Urban Oasis - Mariana Ordahy. Real or imaginary oases, when achieved, are a guarantee of peace and aesthetic pleasure. With this proposal, this contemporary and minimalist environment combines a living area and washrooms. The large Balaton sofa is decorated in green leather and is supported by Iron stools, by designer Maurício Bomfim. Above, the brushed steel shelf provides space for the hanging garden. On the opposite side, the brushed marble countertop houses DECA crockery and metals.
