Juarez Cruz debuts at CASACOR SP with a balanced and elegant space

The Swedish word " lagom " does not have an accurate translation into Portuguese... at least not in words, but in sensations and feelings, architect Juarez Cruz managed to bring the concept applied in his CASACOR São Paulo 2022 project. Named 22#ZERO1 , the space brings a message that advocates " not too much, not too little, but enough " – which is precisely the meaning of the Swedish word. In an increasingly polarized world, the project advocates something more centered and based on well-being. “In the face of all the daily rush, lagom is a welcome relief. In this philosophy, well-being should not come from material things but from a state of mind,” he explains. The 60 m² space has an integrated living room and kitchen that follows a more minimalist style. The concept is reflected in the space with oak floors, furniture by Guilherme Wentz and works by Eduardo Haesbaert , Hugo França and Túlio Pinto . Juarez Cruz has already been to five other editions of CASACOR in Rio Grande do Sul, but this is the professional's first time at the São Paulo show .
