Maxi-embroidered panel is a sensation at CASACOR SC

Right at the entrance to CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2024 , the Ikigai environment surprises and excites with a work of art that is pure delicacy and symbolism. Designed by architects Yuri Bini and Daniela Kumagai , the space features a maxi embroidery panel , created by artist Renata Barreto , which symbolizes the union of Japanese and Brazilian cultures. Hand-embroidered on a 20 m² canvas , the design unites the cherry tree, symbol of Japan, and the araucaria, icon of Southern Brazil , representing the essence of Ikigai which, in Japanese culture, means “purpose of life”.
