CASACOR Peru is the brand's oldest international franchise. Since 1996, the Peruvian version of CASACOR has brought the best of the country's architecture, interior design and landscaping, always in buildings or houses that refer to local culture and Inca traditions. It is worth remembering that one of the purposes of the exhibition in Lima, led by the duo Verónica Torres de Haaker and Elena Benavides, is to rescue local jewels, mainly because the capital has a historic center with 608 buildings listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In 2016, for example, the exhibition had two locations in the center: Casa Mujica and Casa Paz Soldán. The previous year, CASACOR had also been divided into two addresses, this time in the Bahia del Callao region: Edifício Ronaldo and La Casa Valega. The 2017 edition restored Pabellón de Caza, an old restaurant from the 80s, designed by Arturo Rubio and architect Luis Rissora, much celebrated in its heyday for having a menu that mixed Peruvian and French cuisine.
