CASACOR

This space is a moving tribute to Mr. Manoel Machado and his family, the original residents of the house where the exhibition is held. It is also a tribute to Manoel’s hometown, Areial, in the backlands of Ceará. The inspiration from this arid and rustic land is reflected throughout the ambiance, with its earthy colors and elements that tell the story of the honoree. The space is a perfect fusion of the old and the contemporary, evoking a private gentlemen’s club with an austere and elegant atmosphere, ideal for reading, conversation, whiskey and music. Impressive elements, such as circular mirrors that stretch to infinity, stone columns connected to expansive shelves, an imposing rug and a wooden chandelier, create a sense of power and sophistication. This room is truly a work of art that rescues memories and offers comfort through architecture and decoration.
