The OKAN ARÁ balcony project was designed by the Tsuru Lab architecture firm and was created by architect and artist Lucas Lemos. The term, of Yoruba origin, means heart-body and draws attention to the poetics of the female body, as the skin that protects and envelops the home, a place of residence from the perspective of emotions. In its presentation, it condenses the visual arts into the world of architecture, in a proposal for a welcoming environment. The project confirms the idea that handmade is the new luxury, based on hand-made elements that are uniquely contemporary, authentic and conceptual.
