Priscila Mortare’s proposal is a reinterpretation of Minas Gerais culture, combining classic elements with a contemporary atmosphere. Earthy tones, wood and a small vegetable garden add a charming touch to the space. “The idea is to awaken feelings, emotional memories and the appreciation of Brazilian culture.” The mix of styles, an important feature of the architect’s work, is reflected in contrasts that are revealed, for example, in the remodeled and eco-friendly wood-burning stove. The Valentina bench, a key piece in the project, is by Leonardo Bueno. Lúdico is responsible for the artistic painting that conceptualizes the state’s art and architecture.
