To create a connection between visitors and the project, architects Mariana Hetem and Pedro Conde (PAR PROJETOS) and Rulian Nociti (LAND N CITI) were precise. “It is inspired by the outdoor social areas of one of the hottest cities in the interior of São Paulo, where entertaining at home, with a dip in the pool and a cold drink, makes all the difference.” In fact, it is the concept of ‘entertaining at home’ that sets the tone in this space that bears the brand of Walfänger, one of the most traditional breweries in the city: the atmosphere is not that of a conventional bar, but of a residence. To achieve this, elements such as sun loungers, the counter and even the pool come into play, creating spaces that function as lounges. The idea is reinforced in the decoration through furniture, coverings and pieces such as the sculpture by artist Kimi Nii. “The goal is for visitors to identify with the environment and have the chance to truly experience it.”
