CASACOR

The Gercé Suite, designed by Gabriela Picanço, is a tribute to the women who came before her, bringing back family and female memories without age barriers. The space reflects the eclecticism of Fortaleza's Belle Époque, taking as its reference the José de Alencar Theater, an icon of local architecture and a family heritage, where women in the family were ballerinas. Classic elements such as velvet, in reference to theater curtains, and the watercolor panel on the ceiling are mixed with contemporary curves and textures. The detailed carpentry, the original design of the bed, rugs and lamps, developed with local labor, reinforce the balance between tradition and modernity, celebrating the theme From the Present, the Now with elegance and sensitivity.
