“Just as a book publisher translates our experiences into several languages, this house amplifies several voices, whether indigenous, scientific or poetic,” explains the architect. The 89 m² home with an outdoor bathroom was built with a steel frame. The lightweight galvanized steel structure speeds up assembly, enables dry construction and reduces water consumption and waste generation, in addition to allowing the home to be reassembled elsewhere. Highlights include the oculus (round window) in the living room and the paper lamp by artist Thomaz Velho in the bedroom.
