Is forbidden food more enjoyable? Not here. Our Speakeasy is open to the public and can be visited in broad daylight. Inspired by the secret American bars that existed in all major cities between the 1920s and 1930s – when Prohibition prohibited the sale of alcoholic beverages in the United States – the space created by Tiago Freire draws on that source to create an intimate and glamorous atmosphere. With a palette of dense tones, heavy fabrics such as velvet, and plenty of personality, the space focuses on maximalism.
