Seiza is a formal Japanese style of sitting on one's heels, reflecting the strict discipline of the Samurai era; it is also a custom that directly influenced Japanese architecture, with its traditional tatami floors and low furniture. The project is a room for exhibitions, reflections and experiences. The space proposes a concept of aesthetic essentialism linked to Eastern philosophy. The cement and pigment textures revive the ancestry and recall the simple and crude techniques of ancient constructions.
