As a starting point is the exercise by architect Juliana Vasconcellos in allowing herself to go back in time and design the living room of the Palácio das Mangabeiras for Juscelino Kubitschek with today's perspective. The space features a collection from 31 Mobiliário, which includes pieces designed by Ruy Ohtake, José Zanine Caldas, Ricardo Fasanello, Gustavo Bittencourt, Juliana Vasconcellos, Rodrigo Ohtake and Zanini de Zanine, in dialogue with national plastic arts signed by Carlos Vergara, Guilherme Dable, Marcos André , between others. The option to give exclusivity to pieces by Brazilian designers was a reverence for the space and adds to the composition of its history. Few elements, the curve that doesn't forget to stay a little longer, the colors in absolute harmony, without decorations. Furniture with absolute personality and weight and the art as a protective totem of this score. Let's go by parts: the dining table, the rug, the “Zeca” armchair, the solid wood sofa and the sculpture are by José Zanine Caldas. The coffee table is designed by Ruy Ohtake and the side table is designed by Olavo Machado Neto. Zanine de Zanini signs the other rug, the “Agulha” sofa, the work of art; Gustavo Bitencourt signed the chair and Ricardo Fasanello signed the Esfera armchair and the Anel 80's chair. Canvas by Carlos Vergara and, to top it all off, the piano, originally from the Palácio das Mangabeiras. Everything in the right place, at the perfect time, like a conjunction of stars that align and recompose themselves, offers the best that our Brazilianness can dream of.
