Restaurante Arauco,

CASACOR Brasilia
Created by architect and urban planner Priscila Gabriel, the project for the official restaurant (Íz Brasília) of the 2019 edition was developed. The Arauco Restaurant, with 230m2, will be run by renowned chef Ian Baiocchi from Goiânia, and will be inspired by the 1970s. The concept of the project is the restoration of the existing architecture in the building, originally designed by the renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer. In the antique furniture, items from Sérgio Rodrigues, Joaquim Tenreiro, and the Liceu Arte e Ofício give a nostalgic touch to the place. Highlighting the 230m2 slab and all the restored pillars, bringing back the material from Casa da Manchete, from 1978. Concrete, wood, iron, and light complement the projects, which has a capacity for 76 seats. The openings to the gardens and the greenery also within the space give a feeling of coziness, like a home balcony.
