Comfort was the inspiration for the Refuge, a place to relax, where the colors and textures of the desert create a sense of solitude. The reference appears in the sand color of the walls, with velvet texture, and in the reddish terracotta ceiling, which is reminiscent of the sunset. The dunes are represented in the movement of the fabrics on the ceiling and walls, contrasting with the rusticity of the masonry reading bench with niches for books.
