Children's Room

CASACOR Minas Gerais

The base is an autumn palette, a deliberate choice to create a neutral and inclusive environment that can accommodate two children of different ages. For the baby, a cozy oval crib made of wood and straw, airy, light and sensory. The specifications are the same for the dresser next to it, which serves as a support. Next to it, the linen armchair with a wooden base offers extreme comfort on the round and smooth rug, both light in color. The distribution of the furniture is striking, which facilitates circulation, with a functional layout and carpentry, without losing the charm that a space like this requires. Among the good choices is the mezzanine, designed as a large toy box, which can be accessed by a ladder created from a single metal tube, in an organic zigzag. Just below, the ball pit attached to the bed is guaranteed fun. The wall in front of the window explores geometry with the delicacy of arches and brings colors from a balanced palette of dry tones. On the window side, the presence of wood, light-colored blinds, and greenery. Lighting fixtures bring a playful light to the room and allude to the full moon. The fun doesn't end there, as the closet was designed to serve as a playroom, with a low table and two chairs for coloring, a lower mirror, and a rug that repeats the same geometric pattern as the bedroom wall. In addition to mirrored closets on both sides, in slatted wood, in the background, a wall with full and empty niches in light gray painted wood holds toys and objects that remind us of childhood.
