In its second edition, architect Paulo Estevão presents Praça dos Encontros, inspired by the work “Morte e vida Severina” by João Cabral de Melo Neto. With approximately 300m2, the interior of the space was designed inside a pre-existing pool. Canopies were installed around it to provide shade for the circulation. Over the pool, a covering of red pergolas represents the scorching sun of the backlands, and inside the pool the red tone is repeated.
