A pop-up store that reflects the theme of the exhibition. Outside, a small covered porch already presents the main element on the façade, present in the products that were designed and are for sale in the space, made with a CNC Router. In basic terms, Router, in English, means Router, one of the main tools used in high-end carpentry, used to drill, recess, groove or cut materials. CNC Routers are simple and efficient computerized cutting tools. Based on this inspiration, the façade has a front that looks like a cloud, or a nest, made of wooden slats. It conveys the idea of something fragmented, organic, but still materializing. Inside, in the first room, wood once again takes center stage, in a raw tone, present in panels with cut-out patterns, which reference the Japanese artisanal technique Kumiko. Silent and reflective, this ancient Japanese carpentry technique creates patterns from small wooden pieces and fittings. In this room, the floor is made of brick tiles and the ceiling is covered in organically-shaped white stretch fabric, which is where the lighting comes from. The whole arrangement is in tune with the products on display, designed by designers and architects. In the next room, the choice is for a more dramatic scene, using dark wallpaper with the texture of paper. It displays a selection of designer pieces, most of them in African mahogany. The lighting uses organically-shaped stretch fabric, a repeat of the first space, in a new location, this time on the wall.
