CASACOR

The installation explores the correlation between the work of architect and designer Guilherme Torres and the work of artist Regina Silveira. A large white cube serves as support for the site specific Derrapagem , in which tire tracks recreate the traffic of a large city. Cut-out vinyl stickers make up this creation by Regina and were applied to the white polymer cement floor, which merges with the walls. Designed by Guilherme, the furniture sometimes transposes sinuous movements — as in the Lee black leather sofa — and sometimes modifies the perspective and spatiality, like the Supernova setup, with tables of varying heights.
