The straight lines subtly contrast the curves of the Palácio das Mangabeiras, highlighting the contemporary style in a bold and youthful way. The proposal was to create an environment that dialogues with the whole, expressing modernist memory through a contemporary solution and bringing elegance through form, materials and textures. It was about creating an environment that spoke for itself, receptive to the most diverse interpretations. The external area, appearing between the Palace and the fountain, has capacity for 45 people and serves as a meeting point, a sensorial experience, which is reaffirmed with the glimpse of Serra do Curral and with the landscaping designed by Droysen Tomich by cohesively and harmoniously connecting the surroundings. The café is marked by horizontality and explores materials in order to work with the textures that earth, wood and steel can bring to the surface. The fence reinforces the proposed horizontal plans, extending beyond the block, while at the same time interacting with the landscaping. A metal beam emerges from the bench and extends into the garden, between the existing palm trees, serving as support. The furniture is arranged to bring comfort and diverse possibilities of appropriation. The bathroom seeks to bring sophistication and warmth combined with a sensorial relationship emerging from textures. It was designed in neutral colors, rectangular shape and reminiscent of a wooden box that creates a dialogue with the fixed furniture.
