Designed by David Bastos, the living room at Residência Brando Barbosa had all the features of the original architecture maintained. But it became contemporary with a decoration in which light tones prevail in the furniture and fabrics and the sandy texture of the walls, in reference to Rio. The color appears in the large carpet designed by the architect. The natural light, abundant in the environment, and fluid circulation are privileged, highlighting the works of art by great national names such as Carybé, Almandrade, Tunga and Waltércio Caldas, in addition to photography by Fernando Torquato.
