At an urban crossroads, Terreiro emerges as a space for Afro-Brazilian coexistence and celebration. Inspired by the cultural richness of backyards and terreiros, this contemporary installation highlights their historical importance and proposes a dialogue on black identity in Brazil. Full of symbolism, it evokes memories and materialities, inviting reflection on the contribution of Afro-descendants to the country. With an emphasis on the Ancestral House, the origin, deep ties and [RE]Existence are investigated. Representation is emphasized in all forms, from physical to digital.
