The place holds many stories, as a backdrop to great events, meetings, and receptions in the palace. The project was created from there, from the backstage of a pantry in the miner houses. The challenge of updating the space to accommodate other uses was resolved with the use of colors on the lacquered wood and in the lacework of raw MDF with the architects' original design, laser cut.
