Collector's living room
CASACOR Minas GeraisThe project is based on the “MID CENTURY” style, introduced in the 1940s. To humanize and bring warmth to the building, the architect opted to use natural materials. The space has exposed concrete surrounded by wooden mashrabiya panels all around it, at half height, which decorates and, at the same time, still reveals the nature of the place. Wood is present in the furniture collection designed by Brazilian designers, among them Oscar Niemeyer, Bernardo Figueiredo, Jorge Zalszupin and Jader Almeida. The curation of works of art is surprising, with works by artists such as Abraham Palatnik and Zé Bento. The lighting has industrial touches, with spotlights attached by steel cables, in addition to pieces signed by David Groppi. Complementing the scene, a wine cellar for 300 bottles and a fireplace, finishing the decoration of the space combining wood and stone.
