Living Dialogues
CASACOR BahiaA fluid and centralized layout to facilitate circulation through the space, allowing visitors to stroll among the furniture and works of art on display. This guides the design of the space, which has three very well-defined references as inspiration: mud houses - built with wooden structures and filled with clay; parquet floors - very popular in Brazilian homes from the 50s and 60s; and the Bahia Othon Palace itself - with highlights for the emblematic arches. The fluidity and lightness also mark the choice of organic furniture with rounded finishes, in addition to the use of natural elements such as stones, present in the flooring and furniture; indirect lighting and integration of the interior and exterior. The space also pays homage to the traditional ceramics of Maragogipinho and to Bahian art in general.
