Lavabo Subversivo

CASACOR Brasilia
Winners of the 7th São Geraldo CASACOR Brasília Young Professional Award, architects Anna Albano and Camila Abrahão designed the Public Restroom. The space, with 44m2, uses only two coverings, showcasing the strength and versatility that the same material can have. There is no distinction between the floor and the ceiling of the place. The concept of the space makes use of materials in an unconventional way. In front of the sink, instead of a mirror, there are hanging images by renowned photographer Bruno Stuckert. Inside the stalls, upon entering the mirror door, visitors find an entirely colored cube. In the center of the environment, an internal garden separates the women's restroom from the men's.
