The décor is modern, but with a special look at the past. In addition to leaving original details like the hall ceiling and the bathroom tiles untouched, the duo also opted for reinterpretations of old pieces. This is the case of the mashrabiya in the bathroom, which also features rose gold metalwork from Deca, as well as the oratory. The piece, by architect Dado Castello Branco, is contemporary, but it references the history of the house and its owners, who kept a rich collection of sacred pieces there for years.
