The Tree House
CASACOR Santa Cruz de la SierraDiana Canedo used an old palm tree to build the Tree House. But, unlike those constructions intended for children, this one can be visited by adults to enjoy their activities with them. The wooden structure, measuring 15 m2, is supported by cuchi trunks as stilts. The decoration of the interior space is made by artisans, using Chiquitano threads with neutral pigments, which harmonize with the warmth of the natural wood finishes. From the bed on the second floor, through a skylight, you can see the branches of the tree illuminated from the outside. But, without a doubt, the most interesting thing is its adaptation to the way children play today, through its home automation system: just the voice is enough to control the light, turn the music and the television on and off.
