Once again, Adriana Fontana fills CASACOR Ribeirão Preto with colors. After surprising everyone with her Café Botânico in 2022, the interior designer now presents this hall full of personality. These are the strong and vibrant colors that delimit both the walls and the ceiling of the exhibition spaces for contemporary art works (Galeria Artrilha) and striking craft pieces (Atelier na Rua/Casa do Brasil), including paintings, sculptures, wall necklaces, headdresses and pendants. The idea is that these elements tell the story of the residents and the house, bringing back fond memories, and that they show how the houses are transformed with each new object acquired. “The very dark blue and the intense grape create volumes, with more sinuous lines to highlight the works and demarcate the divisions. And the bright yellow marks the scars in the architecture”. These scars, on the floor and walls, are from spaces that have already been opened and demolished. By involving them in the project, Adriana shows that it is also possible to incorporate them into the stories of spaces and people – a reflection also proposed through phrases placed in strategic places in the hall.
