Making his debut at CASACOR Rio, architect Tom Castro celebrates ancestry by seeking a connection with affective memories through the use of native raw materials such as wood and clay. In his Gallery, the walls are covered in ebonized woodwork that highlights both the contemporary and nationally designed furniture and the works of art on display: photographs that exalt black bodies and archetypes. In the bathroom, materials with tones that refer to elements rooted in natural constructions, such as red earth, were used. An organic and very original décor.
