The colored threads reveal the values, beliefs, habits and representations of the daily life of Limpo Grande, a town in Várzea Grande that is home to the weavers of artisanal hammocks, famous for their beauty and durability. The hammocks from Limpo Grande are on display in the Art Gallery, showing the strength of these resilient women, who do manual work and perpetuate the tradition, culture and art of this region. And it is with this perspective that the space was created: to showcase this art, giving each of the artisans all the recognition they deserve.
