Abreu Gallery and Press Room

CASACOR Minas Gerais

Galeria Abreu is an installation that houses works of art and was conceived not only as a place of passage, but as a place of transition that leads the viewer to rethink the home through art, design and architecture, the main pillars of Revista Abreu. The gallery proposes an immersion of the visitor into the world of art on different platforms. The strong colors were chosen with the aim of causing an impact and changing the view. With works in digital art by Christus Nóbrega and Ana Bela Geiger that stand out on the walls painted in magenta. Unconventionally, the lighting was structured using acoustic panels aligned at different lengths. The press room, a place to receive journalists, digital influencers, suppliers and professionals who need privacy to work during the show, was designed as a functional space, but an extension of the gallery. Sober, with comfortable corporate furniture and repeating the same lighting proposal as the previous space, he chose gray for the tables, chairs, sofas and walls, which serves as a base for black, magenta, ochre and blue, used occasionally. Highlight for a text by the artist Christus Nóbrega, which appears engraved in the space.
