CASACOR

Boldness, poetry, art and affection are some of the points of our project for CASACOR Piauí. Paying homage to the tropicalist artist Torquato Neto, Casa Almendra Arquitetura brought an authorial look full of emotion to the cultural heritage left by our crooked angel. The poet's face was sculpted in the house's original plaster, transforming the double-height ceiling into a huge deconstructed canvas. The original staircase was covered with a red metal sheet and goes beyond its function, it takes center stage and connects spaces, providing a disruptive experience that provokes sensations, impacting, instigating and taking us on a unique experience of transitioning spaces. The asymmetrical pagination of the floor made of natural stone refers to Torquato's book that gives the space its name: Fragmentos Poéticos.
