The 30 m2 room aims to reclaim ancestry through traces left in nature – such as fossils, textures, flowers, and minerals – and through attributes of the trajectory of architect Larissa Perna's office, which traverses between Spain and São Paulo. All in a blend of mid-century references with contemporary trends. The irregular travertine beige bahia tiles (originating from Chapada Diamantina) represent Brazil, while the vaulted ceiling alludes to the arches of Barcelona, where the studio was founded. The artistic intervention of textured mortar is signed by the artist Noemi Carpu, from Xàbia, a municipality in the province of Alicante, Spain.
