Estúdio Da Costureira

CASACOR Brasília
Sérgio Facundes' projects were conceived from the concept of 'dressing the house' and ended up becoming a tribute to the architect's matriarch, the seamstress Remy Facundes. In an immersive space of 40m2, he explores visual and tactile contrasts. With areas divided by curtains, the studio features special objects: a sewing machine from 1925, white gold needles made by Gabriela Policena, and 30 kimonos made of typical curtain fabrics in a process of resignification and sustainability proposed by the projects.
