Gabriel Gois's "Being in Oneself" materializes the path in the search for the inner Self, a difficult and courageous journey. The curved walls symbolize an embrace of oneself in the face of the rescue of one's Self, without the polishing imposed by society. The purest state of the Self was materialized through wood, stone and the moldless design of the glass. The earthy tones of the iron bookshelf represent strength and courage and the swing emerges as a symbol of the constant movement of the being. The strength and drive to continue on this journey of self-knowledge were expressed through books, art and affection.
