The contemporary duality of Tocantins lives in the Ulbra Space designed by architects Adriana Dias, Andherson Prado, and Kaio Vilela, and curated by Ulbra architecture student José Luiz de Assis. On one side, clean lines, smooth surfaces, glass, and metal. On the other, the dirt floor, common in the homes of the state's caboclos, and the exposed clay bricks create an engaging narrative about what the state is all about.
