Soleil Space

CASACOR SP

The project's starting point was the desire to propose something that would alleviate the region's hot climate. The brise soleil, a modernist concept developed by Le Corbusier in 1926, was used as the main element in the architecture, automated and moving according to the sun. The home office theme was chosen due to the countless design possibilities, such as living room, office and bathroom. To integrate these spaces, architect Eduardo Franco Correia opted for a mix of furniture and art objects that tell a bit of the history of design. Examples include the LC1 chair (1930), designed by Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret and Le Corbusier, and the Brigadier sofa (1978), by Cini Boeri, which compose the space with contemporary authors such as Guilherme Wentz.
