CASACOR

The kitchen is the heart of the home. It is the space that embraces, welcomes, and brings the whole family together for a special moment, especially in the last few years of the pandemic, when families have become closer and more united. In this edition of CASACOR Sergipe, architect Junior Ordoñez presents a charming and inviting space called 'Espaço Ceres', which in Roman mythology is the goddess of sprouting plants, especially grains, and maternal love. Its representation comes through the materials used: natural straw, mimicked earthy tones, the space with the same texture on the wall and ceiling, and in the palette of the coverings. The honed granite countertop shows the real appearance of the rock together with the natural freijó furniture.
