CASACOR BahiaThe diversity and Portuguese tiles that are hallmarks of Bahia inspired the architect's environment that, through the art of the orixás of Mari Del Rei, celebrates our African heritage. The three-pointed sofa represents the axis of connection between religions, ancestry and communities. The craftsmanship is translated into the embroidery of the NGO Filhos de Bárbara, the wooden Orixás by Sandro Sal da Terra, and the lamps of indigenous origin. The curved bookshelf full of colors and randomly ordered suggests the disordered favelas. Big Z's graffiti and Jorge Amaro's black and white canvas suggest reflection on the social contrast we experience. Hope is represented in Akira Cravo's photographs, while the Sword of Saint George represents protection.
