The power of new beginnings and the idea of continuous transformation led architects Arnaldo Pinho, Monica Pinto, and Isabel Veiga to imagine the coexistence of the past, present, and future based on sustainability. The thought is solidified in this 56 m2 room and bar, which enhances the listed building by restoring the original wooden floor and entrance door and takes advantage of natural ventilation and vegetation to ensure thermal comfort. Circular economy is celebrated in the reuse of Brazilian yellow bamboo stone, applied in the lush planter and bar counter.
